What Services Does My Rockin' Tutor Provide?
Kara specializes in building foundational math skills, including number sense, fact fluency, and application of mathematical strategies. The approach includes a brief lesson on a new concept, guided practice, and incorporating the new skill into a game or hands-on activity. Enrichment-based lessons to challenge the mind are also offered! The goal for all students is to build lifelong mathematicians who understand how to advance mathematics functions because they have a strong foundation in the early years.
* MRT does not provide homework support. Homework support is time-consuming and only helps students through one assignment rather than teaching a skill to be applied in any setting. Kara is happy to build a lesson inspired by the concepts your child is working on in class/homework and provide guided practice on the same topic.
